For and Onbehalf of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Sealed Tenders with the name of work and tenderers duly superscribed on the cover are invited from the Registered contractors under Class V and above in Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board or in any other Government Departments/ Government Undertakings of Tamil Nadu Government Only by the Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Division VI, No. 36/1, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai- 600 017on 13-07-2007 Upto 3.00 P.M. as per the Office wall clock for the following works. The received tenders will be opened at 3.00 P.M on the same day in the presence of the or their authorised agent who choose to be present at that time.

Tender documents can be had from the Office of the Executive Engineer, Division VI, Tamil Madu Slum Clearance Board, No.36/1, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-600 017 and Office of the Superintending Engineer, Chennai South Circle and Financial Adviser, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, No. 5, Kamarajar Salai, Chennai-5, on all working days from 06-07-2007to12-07-2007 on production of Demend Draft drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, Division VI, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Chennai-17 towards the cost of tender schedule plus sales tax at 8% and S.C. at 20% on S.T as specified in colomun 5.

CONDITIONS FOR ISSUING THE TENDER SCHEDULE

1. The contractors those who are requesting for issue of tender schedule should register their name as a contractor under class V and above with a revised monitory limit of Rs.6.00 lakhs and above in Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board or in any other Government Department/ Government Undertaking of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Only and the same shall be produced.

2. Tenders received without E.M.D. in proper form as specified in the tender schedule and unsealed tenders will be summarily rejected.

3. Telegraphic and Conditional tender will not be accepted.

4. Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board will not be responsible for any postal delay.

5. If the due date for the tender assigned happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and opened on the immediate succeeding working day without any change in the time alredy indicated.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.
