ENVIRONEMNTAL IMPACT & SOCIAL ASSESSMENT  STUDY – Endorsement

Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board  has proposed to construct  the slum tenements for the Tsunami affected families at All India Radio land , Thiruvottiyur in Thiruvallur District. IL & FS took the Environmental Impact and Social Assessment study for the above project and submitted the final report.

Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board endorse the IL & FS final report

subject to the following conditions:

1. Host Community Development:

(i) Improvement to Roads and surface drains:

The local body has agreed to develop the adjoining areas under JNNURM.

(ii) Improvement  to Water Supply:

The local body has agreed to develop the adjoining areas under JNNURM.

(iii) Construction of Public Toilet:

The local body has agreed to develop the adjoining areas under JNNURM.
